Patsy Mae Summers (nee Osborne)

Patsy Mae Summers (nee Osborne), passed away, Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the age of 83 in Chesterfield Missouri.

Beloved wife of Ray Summers. Loving mother of Leisa (the late Dave) Peterson and Daniel Summers. Proud grandma of Samuel Peterson, Grant Peterson, Thomas Summers and Alayna Summers. Dearest sister of Kenneth (the late Mary Ann) Osborne, Opal (Bill) Ramey, the late Betty Rose (Bill) Dills and the late Tommy (Cathy) Osborne. Dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Patsy was born on March 17, 1943 in Bethany, Missouri.

She was united in marriage with Ray Summers on August 19, 1961 and recently celebrated their 65th Wedding anniversary together.

Patsy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from University of Missouri St. Louis and Master's in business administration from Webster University.

Patsy was an elementary school teacher at Hazelwood School District for several years and a Planner/Contacts Administrator at McDonnell Douglas before enjoying more than 25 years of retirement at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Not only was she involved in girl scouts with Leisa but she was the leader of the troop while working on her bachelor's degree. She was also involved with several organizations and committees throughout her life and managed to overcome hardships to accomplish all that she set out to do. She was also a talented artist in her earlier years.

Patsy's first love was her grandkids. She was in her height of glory when she got to entertain her grandkids at the Lake of the Ozarks. Her second passion was travel. She traveled extensively over a good portion of the world and was happiest when she could combine the two and travel with her grandkids.

Services: The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. The memorial service will be conducted following visitation Friday at 3 p.m. Please share memories of Patsy and condolences with the family in the online guest book at Schrader.com.
