Shaw, Ralph Richard, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 91 years old.

Ralph was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Ralph Kennedy Shaw and Martha Lena Shaw (née Risk). A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Architecture and went on to become a partner of the St. Louis-based architectural and engineering firm Casco Corporation, where he enjoyed a distinguished and successful career spanning more than 30 years.

Ralph shared 36 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Eileen. Together, they enjoyed traveling, creating cherished memories, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his dedication to his profession, his service to his country, and the love he shared with those closest to him.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen Shaw (née Kelley); his loving daughters, Kelley Miller, Jill (Timmy) Karagiannis, and Denise (Kraig) Mikitin; and his treasured grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Nathan, Hannah, Grace, William, and Declan.

Services: A memorial service will be held at Kirkwood United Methodist Church, 201 W. Adams Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122 on Friday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice Services, Chesterfield, MO .
