Obituary

Boyette, Robert "Bob", passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The devoted and beloved husband of Bernice A. Boyette (née Patrick); dearest father of Lynn (fiancé Mark Waters) Berger, David (Ann) Boyette and Richard (Kim) Boyette; dear grandfather of Christian Berger, Brennan Boyette, Anna Berger, Luke (fiancée Bryndal Miller) Boyette, Owen Boyette, Caroline Boyette, Patrick Boyette and Evan Boyette; son of the late Robert and Helen Boyette (née Bates); dear uncle of 13 and friend of many.

Bob proudly worked for the Monsanto Co. for 30 years and his friendships developed at work lasted well beyond his retirement. Always a consummate professional who would offer a steady and calming influence when needed the most.

His devotion to his Catholic Faith, wife, and family far surpassed anything else. He and Bernice shared a 65 year love story. They traveled extensively in retirement and spent many winters in Florida where they would join Bob's best friends from McBride High School, friends from their Crestwood Ping Pong Club, and friends from his days at Monsanto. Bob and Bernice enjoyed golf, playing cards, and Duke basketball. Bob's three children knew him as the man who was truly self-made. They knew him as the smartest man in the world. They knew him as a gentleman and their hero.
