Swanson, Ronald Marvin, passed away, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the age of 90.  He was born in Tuscumbia, Missouri, a son of Hannis and Ella May (nee Fendorf) Swanson.  Ron was a graduate of Lincoln University with a bachelor's in education, and later an additional bachelor's in construction engineering.  He retired from MODOT as a construction supervisor.

He is the beloved husband of Freda Marie (nee Kallenbach);  dear father of Steven G. Swanson. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law John F. and Eula M. (nee Dorl) Kallenbach, and a brother Morris Swanson.
