Stumpf, Ruth E., a resident of Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 84. Cherished daughter of the late Ruth E. and Russell F. Stumpf; dear cousin and friend to many who will be greatly missed. In recent years, Ruth was a special friend to the late Wendell R. Gaume, sharing many happy times together. After graduating high school, Ruth worked at Rexall Drug Company and then Greyhound Lines Inc. as a secretary/assistant doing general office work. Following her years of employment she became caregiver to several family members, including her parents.

Family get-togethers were always very important to her. She enjoyed many family vacations in Grand Haven, Michigan growing up. Ruthy was a past Queen of Job's Daughters with many happy memories of those years too. She also helped plan many high school reunions for her Beaumont High School Class of 1959. She enjoyed attending St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, St. Louis Blues hockey games, and many shows at the Muny and Fox Theatre. Ruthy took pleasure in traveling to Branson, Missouri. She always enjoyed dinner out with friends and family, as well as a good pinochle card game.

Services: Graveside service at St. Peter's Cemetery, 2101 Lucas and Hunt Road, St. Louis, 63121 on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
