Sallie A. Nistendirk (nee Bittick)

Nistendirk, Sallie A. (nee Bittick ), passed away, Monday, October 26, 2026. Loving wife of David Nistendirk. Beloved sister of Dean Bittick. Dear friend to many.

Sallie was a truly special person who touched so many lives with her love, kindness, and generosity. Throughout her life, she gave so much of herself to others, leaving behind a legacy of love and countless cherished memories. She was the best wife and sister that anyone could hope for. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed.

Services: Visitation will be held at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, Tuesday, November 3, 2 - 4 pm. A private graveside service will be held at the Jonesburg City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Beta Xi for a future scholarship honoring Sallie's 30 years as an elementary teacher as well as her 50+ years as a member of the sorority dedicated to excellence in education - Alpha Delta Kappa.
