Sharadaben Amarsingh
Brahmbhatt
Jul 10, 1926 — Feb 2, 2026
Wildwood
Sharadaben Amarsingh Brahmbhatt passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at the remarkable age of 99. A devoted widow, matriarch, and guiding light to her family, she leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace.
Sharadaben was born in Visnagar, Gujarat, India, during British rule - a time that shaped her deep understanding of hard work, resilience, and life lived through one's hands rather than technology. From those early years to nearly a century later, she witnessed extraordinary change, embracing life with curiosity, adaptability, and a sharp mind that never faded.
She was a passionate homemaker who dedicated her life to raising six children in India, supporting their education and celebrating their many successes with quiet pride. She is survived by her loving children: Arunaben, Yogeshbhai, Ashaben, Varshaben, Nageshbhai, and Nirupaben. She was a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Sharadaben played an active role in raising her grandchildren, finding joy in the everyday moments of their childhood. She loved playing with them, watching movies together, and gently running her fingers through their hair- simple gestures that brought comfort, safety, and love. One beloved family memory even lives on in the small bump on her head, the result of a toy truck thrown by a grandchild-now a tender reminder of a home full of life, laughter, and connection.
For the past several years, Sharadaben made her home in America, where she continued to amaze her family-transitioning from a non-technology world to learning YouTube, FaceTime, filters, and virtual walking tours of countries across the globe. On September 19, 2008, she proudly became a United States citizen, marking yet another meaningful chapter in her extraordinary life journey. Her memory remained impeccable, her mind exceptionally sharp, and her organizational skills unmatched.
Sharadaben had a big heart and an even greater capacity for love. She adored her family and worshiped them through her constant care, patience, and kindness. She loved animals, nature, sweets, and greeting everyone with her warm, friendly smile. A gifted cook and natural teacher, she generously shared her wisdom, skills, and life lessons with anyone lucky enough to learn from her.
Known for her gentle spirit, caring nature, and quiet strength, Sharadaben was a beauty inside and out-aging with grace, dignity, and remarkable energy. Even in her final moments, she remained independent and strong, always focused on caring for her children no matter their needs.
Sharadaben Amarsingh Brahmbhatt's life was one of service, devotion, and unconditional love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her values, teachings, and boundless affection will continue to live on through generations.
