Obituary

Sharon Lee Addison, 88, of Wildwood, Missouri, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on November 29, 2025. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the beloved daughter of Karl and Ella Spanholtz.

Sharon was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 62 years, Byron "Kent" Addison, and her sister, Shirley (Thomas) Moore. She is lovingly survived by her children: Kendall Addison (Nikki) and Angela Meier (William) and her grandchildren—Samuel, Zoë (Matthew), Rachel, Scotlynn, and Landon.

Known affectionately as "Moo Moo" to her grandchildren, Sharon poured boundless love, encouragement, and joy into their lives. She embraced her role as their grandmother with warmth and devotion, creating memories they will carry forever.

Sharon was the cherished matriarch of her family—steady, loving, and endlessly generous. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together, and entertaining friends and family was one of her greatest passions. Whether hosting a holiday celebration or a simple afternoon visit, she created spaces filled with laughter, comfort, and connection.

A gifted and steadfast partner in life, Sharon served as the business manager for Kent's many artistic endeavors. Together, they built an extraordinary life centered on faith, family, and love.

Sharon had a vibrant spirit and a deep appreciation for life's small joys. She was an avid collector of ceramic cow creamers, napkin rings, and other treasured antiques. Her collections reflected her whimsy, curiosity, and eye for beauty—qualities that shone brightly in every part of her life.
