Savory, Spencer Jay, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his home at the age of 71. He was born in Washington, Missouri, a son of Alfred Jackson and Mary Lou (Holladay) Savory. Spencer worked in maintenance at Westminster Christian Academy faithfully for 37 years. He was well known for being able to fix anything, as well as for his wonderful sense of humor. He loved helping everyone.

He is the beloved husband of Susan Savory (Bausch); dear father of Chris (Kim) Savory, and Niki (Tim) Loeffel; loving Pawpaw to Timmy (Hayllee) Loeffel, Ben Loeffel, Stephen (Kaitlyn) Loeffel, Corben Savory, Spencer "Jack" Loeffel, and Caleb Savory; great-grandfather of Natallee and Carson Jay Loeffel; brother of Ronnie (Linda) Savory, Mary (Paul) Swafford, Tammy (Jeff) Norman and the late Brenda Savory.
Spencer also had a very close relationship with Susan's family. He was the proud son-in- law to the late Ernest and Minnie Bausch; brother-in-law of the late Charles Clark, the late Ernest (Diedre survives) Bausch, Barbara (Harry) Glenn and Judy (Stan) Davis; plus, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Services: A Celebration of Spencer's life will be held at Westminster Christian Academy on Sunday, October 26, visitation to take place from 1:00-2:30 with the service immediately following. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to support Spencer's loving wife, Susan, during this very difficult time.
