Clark, Steven Joseph "Steve," baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Steve was born in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Geo. Raymond and Lucile (née Logsdon) Clark, and spent much of his early life in Quincy, Illinois. He attended Christian Brothers High School (class of 1970). Steve took classes at Quincy University until transferring to Northeast Missouri State to graduate with a degree in Law Enforcement. He attended law school at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, before returning to Missouri to build a distinguished career in the law - serving for many years as a Prosecuting Attorney for St. Louis County and as a judge and prosecutor for several municipalities in the greater St. Louis area. Steve's wit and compassion were on full display in both his personal and professional lives. He had a gift for telling stories. He was kind, loving, and supportive. His greatest delight were his six grandchildren. He was a devoted member of Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Steve was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (née Fisher) Clark. He was the loving father of Peter (Mamie) Clark, Sarah (Brian) Schmidt, and Thomas (Carrie) Clark, and the cherished "PawPaw" to Wyatt Kircus, William, James, and Oliver Clark, and Ruby and David Schmidt. He was also the loving brother of Gary R. (Marla) Clark, brother-in-law Steven (Teresa) Fisher, uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
