T Ann
Tolin
May 15, 1947 — Dec 10, 2025
Eureka
T Ann Tolin, 78, of Eureka, Missouri, died on Dec 10, 2025 after a short illness.
Ann was born in St. Louis, MO on May 15, 1947 to C. Alvin and Glaneuse Kraleman Tolin. She attended high school at Mary Institute, and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from William Woods College, a Master's in Communication from Webster University, and a Master's in Fine Art from Washington University. After a career in advertising, she found the calling of her life teaching photography at Webster University for 30 years. She delighted in each student she had the privilege to teach, and proudly followed many as they pursued their own careers.
An avid reader, Ann never could pass up a book store, and always exited one with a bag full of books. She also enjoyed traveling, and always had her camera with her as she explored nature. She loved our National Parks, looking forward to seeing the different landscapes and wild life each park provided. Animals were the key to Ann's soul, and she always had them in her life: dogs and cats to sit with her on the couch, birds and deer to feed in the yard, and many rescue centers to support.
A kind person with a warm smile, Ann had a wonderful outlook on life. She was always up, even on a bad day. She never met a stranger, and spoke to everyone: the store clerk stocking shelves, the janitor sweeping the floor, the person she passed on the street. If you asked Ann what her purpose in life was, she would say to make someone's day better. She always said, "It takes so little to make a difference in someone's day."
Ann was predeceased by her parents, and sister Kathryn Tolin. She is survived by her life partner of 43 years, Martha "Marty" Crimmins, nephew Chris Riedel (Liz White), extended family: Frank and Kim Crimmins, Lee and Claire Isselhardt, Shawn Crimmins, Keith Isselhardt, Rob Isselhardt, and many friends.
