Avanzado, Ulyse "Yoly" (nee De Castro), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 80. She was born in  San Pablo, Philippines, a daughter of Norberto and Germinia (nee Biglete) De Castro.

Yoly was the beloved wife for 60 years of Virgilio Avanzado, Sr., who preceded her in death July 26, 2023; dear mother of Verhny Avanzado, Mary Ann (Brent) Gay, and Van Allen (Amy) Avanzado, and the late Virgilio (Michelle survives) Avanzado, Jr., who preceded her in death May 19, 2026; proud grandmother of Gabby (Brandon) Kukal, Tommy Avanzado, and Racquel (Jack) Ache, Tyler and Riley Keohane, and Sam, Wil, and Max Avanzado; loving sister of Belen Ibarde, Gellen Castillo, Marie Oliva, Daisy Agbayani, Lani Alcantera, Jennet Buenaseda, Teddy De Castro, and Ronald De Castro. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and brothers Roy, Boy, and Edren De Castro, and a sister Elo Del Mundo.

Services: Procession from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, August 8, 2026 , at 10:15 a.m. to Holy Infant Catholic Church, Ballwin for 10:30 a.m. Mass.
