Veda Kathern Reeves (née Dixon) passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 49. Born in St. Louis, she was the cherished daughter of Douglas and Susan (née Gann) Dixon, whose warmth and guidance shaped her life. Veda faced life's challenges with an indomitable fighting spirit, never wavering in her strength and determination.

Veda was a devoted mother to Jordan Hanson, father Scott Hanson, nurturing their bond with care and devotion. She was a dear sister to Ryan (Kaitlen) Dixon and the late Joshua Dixon, and a proud doting aunt to Liam Dixon, Hunter Morrison, Elissa Owens, and Izaiah Dixon. She is also remembered fondly by her half-brother Peter Miller, along with countless extended family and friends, who will forever hold her memory dear.

Services:  To honor Veda's life, a visitation will be held at SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with services to follow at 5:00 pm.  Friends are invited to share condolences and memories in the family's online guestbook at Schrader.com.
