St. Louis
Wilma Jean Garrison (née Brammeier), 91, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on September 7th, 2026. She was born on February 12th, 1935, in Perryville, Missouri, and grew up in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George J. Brammeier and Aurelia M. Brammeier (née Wolfbauer); her brother, George J. Brammeier Jr.; her husband of over 60 years, James P. Garrison; and her beloved cat, Annie.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Swatske and Pamela Law (Gregory Law), and her son, Gregory Garrison (Pamela Garrison); her grandchildren, Brian Swatske, Daniel Swatske (Kelsey Swatske), Nathaniel Garrison (Allyson Garrison), and Shannon Garrison; her great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Emilia Swatske, Hudson Swatske, and Sydney Garrison; her brother, Donald Brammeier; and many nieces and nephews.
A loving mom and grandma, Wilma was known for her sense of humor and her sweet tooth. She always had a treat tucked in her purse and was happy to share, though you might have to negotiate for the good stuff. She loved a good game of cards or dominoes, and rather than cook, she much preferred going out to eat with the people she loved. An avid reader, she also enjoyed a good day of shopping, traveling with her family, and simply spending time with the friends and family who meant so much to her. She was a beloved friend to many.
