Yong Hwa Kim (nee Yoo)

Kim, Yong Hwa (nee Yoo), passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born in Ganghwa, Korea, and had worked for the Rockwood School System.

She was the beloved wife for 60 years of Y.S. Kim, who preceded her in death November 15, 2025; dear mother of Karinn Kim Granger, the late Kyung Bub, Venson (Lori) Kim; mother-in-law of Dan Bub, and Jim(Kimi) Granger; proud grandmother of Caitlin Bub, Jason Bub, Traevor Granger and Zuni Granger; and great-grandmother of Aria Granger; dear sister of Mae (late William) Kirk; sister-in-law Pok Tok Yoo (nee Kim). Yong was preceded in death by her parents father Kap Yong Yoo, mother So Duk Yoo (nee Lee), husband, and brother Jae Young Yoo.

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Paul Cemetery, Gerald MO.
