Feb 9, 1958 — Jul 15, 2025
Ballwin
Mark Paul Bagby was born in St. Louis on February 9, 1958, and passed into life everlasting on July 15, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Bagby of Ballwin, and three step children: Amanda Hendershot, (late William and step grandchildren Allison and Blake) of Aurora, Colorado, Nicole Blackwell (Matthew and step grandchildren Braxton and Claire) of Union, Missouri, and Thomas Jones (step grandchild Abigail) of Patton, Missouri, his sister Carol Waller (Richard) of Georgetown, Texas, and two nephews: Andrew Waller (Taylor) of Austin, Texas, and Danny Waller (Emily and grand-niece Aubrey) of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Herbert Bagby (1974), and mother, Julia Louise Bagby (2024). Mark grew up in West County and attended Parkway schools, graduating from Parkway West in 1977. A member of First Free Church in Ballwin, Mark loved the Lord and trusted him throughout his life, including during health challenges in recent years.
An early interest in the audio-visual field took him to a career in the St. Louis Community College District, working primarily at the Meramec campus in Media Services. He served for several years with the Missouri Civil Air Patrol. Before his health issues worsened, Mark's interests included riding his motorcycle along rural Missouri roads, volunteering with a pipe organ builder, and frequenting local barbecue spots. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, sense of humor, and his loyalty to his family.
