Kassebaum, Nicholas Michael, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Beloved husband of Kelly Kassebaum (Souhrada). Loving father of Nolan, Norman and Wesley Kassebaum. Dear son of David and Susan Kassebaum (Baltz). Brother of Kendra Kassebaum and uncle of Fynn Miller. Son-in-law of Daniel and Patricia Souhrada. Brother-in-law of Samuel Souhrada. Dear nephew of God Parents Frank and Judy Pratl (Kassebaum), Ted and Geralyn Wilson (Kassebaum) and Frank and Kim Seppi (Kassebaum).

Nick attended St. Martin of Tours elementary school, was a Bishop Dubourg Cavalier and received his Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He spent 19 years at Schnucks Markets on the Brand Marketing team leaving as Head of Creative & Creative Director in 2022 to pursue his passion of antiques and collectables.

Nick had the ability to find value in everything, no matter what it might have been. He was an avid treasure seeker and you could always count on him being out early on a Saturday morning hitting a mapped route of all the garage and estate sales happening. Nick would discover an item's history and understand its worth. This is a lesson that can be applied to everything in life. There are various degrees of value in everything, oftentimes more value than we ever anticipated if we slow down and take the time to appreciate it. Our lives are forever changed by the mark he left on our hearts.
